1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account or using StoreMason, you agree to these Terms, the Acceptable Use Policy, and policies incorporated here by reference. You must be at least 18 and have authority to act for the business you register. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
2. Open-trial service
StoreMason provides hosted workrooms and tools to design, configure, and operate storefronts. New owners receive 90 days free from Workroom creation, with no card required. StoreMason does not automatically renew or charge at the end of the free period.
The Workroom remains accessible after the free period. StoreMason may contact the owner to discuss custom pricing, which applies only through a separate agreement or invoice accepted by the owner. Drafts remain private until an authorized launch path is completed.
3. Accounts and store responsibility
Keep credentials confidential, use accurate registration information, and promptly report suspected compromise. You are responsible for store content, products, claims, taxes, fulfillment, customer service, and compliance with laws applying to your business. StoreMason may require identity, ownership, or product verification before provisioning or publication.
4. Custom pricing and payment
No subscription charge or automatic renewal is authorized by accepting these Terms. Any paid service after the 90-day free period requires a separately accepted custom agreement or invoice stating the price and payment terms. StoreMason will not charge a payment method through this signup flow.
5. Acceptable use and review
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. StoreMason may review beta stores, restrict risky features, remove content, suspend access, or preserve records when reasonably needed to protect users, providers, the platform, or legal compliance. Appeal instructions are in the Support and Appeals Policy.
6. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant StoreMason a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, display, and adapt that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. You represent that you have the rights needed for submitted content. StoreMason and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, designs, documentation, and trademarks.
7. Privacy and providers
The Privacy Notice explains data practices. StoreMason relies on service providers such as hosting, authentication, payment, security, and analytics vendors. Their availability may affect the service. Analytics is optional and controlled through Cookie settings.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the beta at any time. StoreMason may suspend or terminate access for policy violations, security risk, nonpayment after live billing is separately enabled, legal requirements, or material harm. When practical, we will provide notice and an appeal route. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms—remain effective.
9. Disclaimers and liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE BETA IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. STOREMASON DOES NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE, SALES, SEARCH RANKING, OR BUSINESS RESULTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STOREMASON WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR LOST-PROFIT DAMAGES. STOREMASON’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE BETA WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR AMOUNTS YOU PAID STOREMASON IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY WHERE LAW PROHIBITS THEM.
10. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these Terms and will post the new date. Material changes will be presented through the service or by contact information on file. California law governs without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes not resolved informally may be brought in state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
